It's been awhile since I last posted. Much going in in life, mostly the usual craziness. I have actually started being able to get a little bit of crochet and knitting done. Here are some of the Marc pictures that have been taken in the last year. I've been posting most of them on my Facebook page, since I now have a phone that will upload them fairly quickly and easily. Enjoy.

All Free Crochet Contest
I'm going to try to start posting regularly again, not just pictures. And to start this off, here's a link to a contest from All Free Crochet! This looks like an awesome package to win, & I've been wanting to try Lion Brand's new Unique yarn. What better way to try it than by winning it?
If any of you who still occasionally look at my blog decide to enter as well, I wish you luck!

Swallowing my pride
If anyone still occasionally looks at this blog, I'm swallowing my pride & posting a link to the request my husband put up on a donations website. There are folks that put up posts simply because they want a new computer or want to go on vacation. His post is there to help our family survive. Here's the link:

If you can find it in your hearts to help out, it would be greatly appreciated.

Many Changes
Figured that for once I'd just do an update (whether anyone actually still follows this or not, lol). Many things have changed in the last 2 months for our family. We're now residing in Brooklyn, NY & getting used to life in the big city. Fortunately we're in a fairly quiet neighborhood, so until we get outside things sound pretty much the same or even quieter than where we lived in Anderson, IN.
Of course, in the midst of the move I got hurt. When doesn't that happen? But who would have thought that I would manage to sprain my leg & ankle simply by tripping over the dog? When it happened, I was more concerned that she had been hurt than whether or not I was. Then a couple of days later my leg swelled & really started hurting. I'm still recuperating, but it's better than it was.
The boy has taken to the changes quite well. Waiting for warmer weather, for my leg to be better, & for the sun to stay around in the afternoon so I can take him down the block to the playground & let him enjoy the swings. The downside of city living is that we have no yard to speak of.
Otherwise, life is much the same. The rest of us are still on the computer whenever we can be, trying to get our possessions sorted out, unpacked, & located in general. And I will leave you with this picture that I saw on Facebook earlier today & loved:

I may as well face it. I will never be a steady blogger. There's too much going on in my life for me to remember to come here every day & write something, & sometimes I don't remember in a month or more (obviously). So, I will continue to post as I remember to, & hope that those of you who tend to try to visit regularly will continue to do so. As Marc gets older & I can get into crafting again, I may once again start posting things about my crochet & knitting, but we'll see what happens. In the meantime, here are a lot more pictures of my little monkey. He's grown so much!

Picture time again
It's that time again. Time to add more pictures of Marc. I know I don't do this nearly often enough, so my apologies. These were taken over the last couple of months, enjoy!
